Well there has been prior talk of the Blackberry 9780 launching in October this year, there has been nothing confirmed. Well there is a new rumor today regarding a Canadian launch with Rogers.
The rumor is that Rogers will launch the 9780 in November sometime, which does exclude an American launch in October. Can any of you say Torch repeat?? It seems very plausible that the 9780 will launch in the US first and then launch in Canada and the UK a month or so after.

The 9780 is of course the refresh of the highly popular 9700, but will include a 5MP camera, 512MB RAM, and of course will launch with Blackberry 6. The rest of the device will be the same as the 9700.

This may come as good news to those users who love their 9700 and did not want to switch over to the Torch 9800 just to get Blackberry 6.
